Install Latest SQL Service
Pack
Installing and Configuring IIS for Sharepoint
Make Sure you back up your First
Start run regedt32
File Export Give the Registry a name
Insert Sharepoint Portal Installation CD
Double Click Set up
Next
Press OK if Pop asks you to turn off IIS and
SQL
Next
Accept Terms and Condition
Enter Product Key
To install SPS with SQL Server Select Install
w/out DB Engine
Also Change the Directory for Data for better
performence
Click Browse
Change the Drive letter
Select OK
Select Yes to create the directory
Set up will go on for about 5 minutes
Resume here
Select a domain Service Account that has Local
Administrator Privileges on the Server
Next
Finish
Enter you Service username and Password for
Portal App Pool Identity
To join a server Farm Select Connect to
existing configuration database
Otherwise Select Create configuration
Database
If multiple server topology select Database
server name or enter local server name for one
server topology
Enter email address
